Went online to harbor freight to order some nitrile gloves for my shop and work. They dont even have them on the website now.

So I went to Amazon and finally found a case of orange gloveworks. I wasn’t intending to buy a case, but that’s all I could find on Amazon.

So the wife decided to make some facemasks.

I pretty stocked on gloves from beforehand.

I’m all for making masks for fun and activities. I just hope you aren’t thinking a home made cloth mask gives you any protection, because it doesn’t even a little if virus carrying droplets get to your hole area. Just don’t let it give you false confidence to go where you otherwise wouldn’t.

So, my job requires me to walk thru peoples homes. I’m now asking if anyone is sick or has a fever. I’m in NW Ohio, and have a relatively, for now, low rate of infection. But, I’m taking more precautions when walking thru people homes. If Ohio goes on lock down, I guess I’m on a vacation I don’t get paid for. But, how does anyone sell or refinance a home if I can’t get out and appraise their home? Beats me. Just another example of the economy grinding to a halt.

I’m wondering how real estate agents are even doing shows.

Damn - I’ve been working on my old Mazda and running low on gloves and was going to head there tomorrow and grab a box.

It looks like spray on shoes have finally found their time to shine - in the form of spray-on gloves!

Some are not doing showings. There are several properties that have been taken off the market as owners don’t want random people walking thru their homes. Real estate sales are going to tank in the next few weeks, even thought interest rates are at their lowest level in years.

Nothing short of a commercial face mask that has been properly tested for fit and seal is going to give that level of protection. I think we’d both rather have someone unable to hold a cough in public right now do so into a mask that catches a large portion of what would’ve otherwise been ejected. Especially what catches on surfaces including floors. The latter being suspected in a great amount of transmissions .

Sure. But if someone has a persistent cough, they shouldn’t be out. If you don’t have one, a piece of old pillow case won’t do anything against those that do. So the message is, wear that cloth mask if you want, but keep just as much distance from other people as if you had nothing. Don’t get a false sense of safety.

I mean, that’s part of why interest rates are so low, to counteract the fear. If you’re willing to put on gloves and screen your agent, it’s a good market. Provided you have the down payment after all the market craziness.
